Privacy & Policy
Last updated: September 2026
1. Introduction
Speaking Mock is an online platform that provides mock speaking test sessions across multiple exam types — including IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Duolingo, and others — conducted by qualified examiners. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our services as a student or examiner.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name and email address provided during sign-up via Google authentication.
- Session data: scheduled session times, exam type, duration, meeting status, and AI-generated scoring results.
- Payment information: transaction records processed through Click or Payme. We do not store full card or payment credentials on our servers.
- Uploaded documents: examiner certification documents and profile photos submitted during examiner onboarding for verification purposes.
3. Session Recording
Every session conducted on the platform may be recorded via Recall.ai for quality assurance and AI-based scoring purposes. Recordings are stored securely and access is restricted to authorised platform personnel. By registering and using the platform, both students and examiners acknowledge and consent to being recorded during sessions.
4. YouTube & Promotional Use
With prior notice, session recordings may be published on our official YouTube channel for educational and promotional purposes. Before any recording is published, personally identifiable information will be redacted, or explicit written consent will be obtained from all participants. Users who do not wish their session to be published on YouTube may opt out by contacting our support team before the session takes place. Opting out of YouTube publication does not affect your ability to use the platform.
5. AI Analysis
Session audio and transcripts are processed by AI systems to generate indicative score estimates based on the criteria relevant to the exam type conducted (e.g. fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation for IELTS; or equivalent criteria for TOEFL, Cambridge, Duolingo, and other supported exams). These scores are intended as formative feedback only and do not constitute official results for any examination body.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only as necessary to operate the service:
- Click and Payme — to process payments for session bookings.
- Google — for authentication and calendar integration.
- Recall.ai — to record and retrieve session recordings.
7. Google Account Data
Speaking Mock uses Google APIs in two separate places, each with its own consent screen:
- Sign-in. When you create an account or log in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to identify your account and to address you in the interface and in the emails we send about your sessions. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Google Calendar (examiners only). An examiner may separately grant access to their Google Calendar, using the
calendar.eventsandcalendar.readonlyscopes. We use this access solely to create the calendar event for a booked session — which is what generates its Google Meet link — to read that event back so we can show the Meet link in the app, and to notice when an examiner cancels the event on their own calendar so the session can be released. We do not read, store or analyse any other event on an examiner's calendar.
To keep a session's calendar event in step without asking for consent again, we store the Google authorisation token issued to an examiner who connects their calendar. An examiner can revoke it at any time from their Google Account's security settings or by contacting us, after which we no longer create or read calendar events on their behalf.
Speaking Mock's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the session-booking features described above.
8. Data Retention
Session recordings and AI-generated results are retained for 12 months from the date of the session, after which they are permanently deleted unless retention is required by applicable law.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To submit a deletion request, please contact our support team. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
10. Fikr-mulohaza muddati va qaytarishlar
Imtihonchilar sessiya yozuvi qayta ishlanib bo'lgandan so'ng 24 soat ichida fikr-mulohaza taqdim etishlari shart. Agar imtihonchi ushbu muddatda fikr-mulohaza taqdim etmasa, ushbu sessiya uchun to'lov bekor qilinadi: imtihonchining ulushi talabaga qaytariladi, platforma komissiyasi esa qaytarilmaydi. Sessiya bo'yicha AI baholash faqat imtihonchi fikr-mulohaza taqdim etgandan keyin yoki fikr-mulohaza taqdim etilmagan holda 24 soatlik muddat tugagandan keyin amalga oshiriladi.
